Willie Eugene Rogers

Willie Eugene Rogers, 96, of Corsicana passed away Friday, July 27, 2001 at
Heritage Oaks West.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Independent Baptist Church, 703 E.
Fifth Ave., with the Rev. Donald Lacey officiating. Interment will follow at
Woodland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Leonard Dempsey, Adante Austin, Michael Allen, Mikel
Collins, James Cleveland and Jake Griffin.

Mrs. Rogers was born Sept. 21, 1904 in Teague.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Rogers.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by three grandchildren including Elma Ann Buchanan of
San Mateo, Calif. and Leon Buchanan of Philadelphia, Pa.; several
great-grandchildren; several cousins including Leonard Dempsey; other relatives
and friends.
