Mr. Gerald Rose, Sr.

Mr. Gerald Rose, Sr., 81, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at the Teague 
Nursing Home.

Memorial services for Mr. Rose will be held at a later date.

Gerald Rose, Sr. was born in Temple, TX on March 21, 1933. He married Nita Jean 
on June 26, 1967, and shared over forty-seven years together. Mr. Rose had lived 
in Teague since 1991 and retired from both Teague I.S.D. and Napa Auto Parts.

He is survived by his wife, Nita Jean Rose of Teague; three sons, Gerald Dean 
Rose, Jr. and wife Kristi of Teague, Robert Oney and wife Susan of Cleveland, 
and Don Oney of Humble; one daughter, Ronda Horak of Humble; thirteen 
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Rose of Pittsburgh; 
two brothers, David Rose and Garlin Rose both of Temple; numerous nieces, 
nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bowers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
