LESLIE HOWARD ROWELL

Funeral services for Leslie Howard Rowell, 70 of Minco, Oklahoma, were held on 
Saturday, November 28, 2009, at the Hazel Dell Baptist Church NW, of Minco. 
Reverend Al Dorrough officiated and burial was at Hazel Dell Cemetery in Minco.

Mr. Rowell was born on April 23, 1939, at Hermitage, Arkansas, to Fred and Gordie
McDougald Rowell. Mr. Rowell lived in Texas for a time until moving to Minco in
1973. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Gravel Ridge, Arkansas. 
He married Brenda Carr on March 6, 1959, and worked as a truck driver until his 
retirement. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He passed away
on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at Parkview Hospital in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Penny Shepherd.

Mr. Rowell is survived by is wife Brenda of Minco; his sons Tracy and Teresa 
Rowell of Dew, Texas, Lex and Neawa Rowell of Minco; his daughters Tammy Sarrett 
and husband Jay of Minco and Deana Smith and husband Cleo of Minco; his nieces 
Melinda Blevins and husband Roy of Chickasha and Audie Ruthardt of Minco; 17 
grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco was in charge of the arrangements.
