Lucy Elizabeth (Carroll) Salter

Lucy Elizabeth Carroll Salter, 60, of Streetman passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10,
2001 in Fairfield.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Cade Cemetery in Streetman with
Brother Stan Osborne officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Horace M. Cox III, John Salter Jr., Charles Thomas
Salter, William Bryan Salter, Milton Carroll, Johnny Carroll and Jack Carroll. 
Mrs. Salter was born March, 6, 1940 in Fairfield. She was a homemaker and a
member of First Baptist Church of Streetman.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Carroll.

Mrs. Salter is survived by her husband, Bruce Salter of Streetman; daughter,
Cynthia Ann Cox of Streetman; sons, John Salter Jr. of Tom Bean, Charles Thomas
Salter of Rosebud and William Bryan Salter of Newberry, S.C.; father, Jack
Carroll; brothers, Milton Carroll, Johnny Carroll and Jack Carroll, all of
Fairfield; sisters, Carolyn Nanny of Teague, Billie Brim of Baytown, Sara Grace
Owens of Van, and Martha Lindsey, Kathy Whatley and Shelia Winfree, all of
Fairfield; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.
