Thomas William "Bill" Sammons II

Thomas William "Bill" Sammons II, 58, passed away Nov. 5, 2000 in Houston. 

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Forest Park The Woodlands
Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gordon Sudduth officiating. Interment followed
at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery. 

Mr. Sammons was born Dec. 13, 1941 in Teague. He was a member of Oak Ridge
Baptist Church and was the owner of Sammons Construction Company. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Sammons; father, Thomas William
Sammons; and brother, Harry Michael Sammons. 

Mr. Sammons is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shirley; sons and
daughters-in-law, Thomas W. III and Melody Sammons and Mark Allen and Dee Dee
Sammons; daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Chris Rutledge; grandchildren,
Thomas Wesley Sammons IV, Warren Keith Sammons, Jonah Alan Sammons, Savannah
Rutledge and Cailey Rutledge; stepmother, Bennie Sammons of Corsicana; brother
and sister-in-law, James Patrick and Vicki Sammons; sister and brother-in-law,
Elizabeth and Richard McLendon; sister-in-law, Paula Sammons; sister,
Clementine Holmes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
