John Sandlin II

WORTHAM - Graveside services for John Calvin (Jackie) Sandlin II, 34, a former
Wortham resident, will be held Saturday morning (Aug. 12, 2006) at 10 o’clock 
in Wortham Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Tom Prentiss. Porter Chapel-
Wortham is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sandlin, who resided in Kane, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, in 
Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. He was born in Dallas on Dec. 24, 
1971.

Family visitation will be this evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Porter Chapel 
in Wortham.

Mr. Sandlin is survived by his wife, Julie Sandlin of Kane, Pennsylvania; three
sons - John Calvin Sandlin III and Christopher W. Sandlin, both of Kane, and
Charles M. Sandlin of Huntsville; a step-daughter, Megan Maze of Kane; a 
stepson, Kyle Maze of Kane; his mother, Sue Sandlin of Wortham; three brothers 
- Mike Sandlin and Allen Sandlin, both of Wortham, and Paul Sandlin of
Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Sandlin; by paternal grandparents,
Thomas and Patti Sandlin, and by maternal grandparents, Chris and Nina 
Englezou.

WORTHAM - John Calvin Sandlin II, 34, died in Erie, Pennsylvania. Funeral 
arrangements are pending at Porter Funeral Chapel in Wortham.

Among survivors is his mother, Sue Sandlin of Wortham.
