Mexia Daily News - Jan. 12, 2005 edition Mr. Tracey Sartor TEAGUE - Memorial services for Tracey Sartor, 42, of Teague, will be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock in First United Methodist Church. The Reverends Jeff Powers and Charles Jordan will officiate. Mr. Sartor, born Jan. 4, 1963, in San Gabriel, California, died Monday in Parkview Regional Hospital-Mexia. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he worked with the youth, teaching and serving as chaperone for the United Methodist Army group. Married to Mary Kay Morris on Sept. 29, 1984, the couple had been married for 20 years. Tracey enjoyed helping his son's band to get organized and traveling to play. He was a good friend to many and was known to have enjoyed cheering up people around him. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or to the Teague Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are his wife, Mary Kay Sartor of Teague; two sons, Drew Sartor and Taylor Sartor of Teague; his mother, Lana Ellis and her husband, Mike Briggs of Wortham; his father, A.G. Sartor of Teague; a brother and sister-in-law, Billy R. and Phyllis Hardy of LeNoir, North Carolina; a sister and brother-in-law, Lana and Chuck Calame of Wortham; a brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Christy Foreman of Teague. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Mary Morris; his father-in-law and mother's in-law, Jerry Morris and wife Jan; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Donna Bramm and husband Joe, Lori Griffith and husband Mike, Louann McKethan and husband Dana, William Morris, Jr., and William Yager, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
