Corsicana Daily Sun - Apr 29, 2005 edition Chelmer "Chel" Satterwhite Memorial services for Chelmer “Chel” Satterwhite, former resident of Teague, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Teague with the Rev. Darrel Beggs officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Chel was born Oct. 13, 1960, in Fairfield and passed away April 27, 2005, at the age of 44. Chel was a Baptist and graduated from Teague High School in 1979. He was a fireman’s apprentice mate while in the U.S. Navy. He had lived in Corsicana for the past 20 years and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife, Edith “Babe”; two sons, Bud Satterwhite and wife Brianna and Mac Satterwhite; and three grandchildren, Brianna Satterwhite, Lane Verminlien and Cameron Satterwhite, all of Corsicana; father, Chelmer Ray Satterwhite Sr.; two brothers, Kelley Satterwhite and wife Angela and Chad Satterwhite and wife Lana; and nephews, Kenny, Kevin, Trent, Zack and Drew Satterwhite, all of Teague. Chel was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Satterwhite; and grandparents, Buddy and Ruby Satterwhite and John and Rosa Mae McNutt. Arrangements by Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home, Teague.
