Mamie Dell Scott

WORTHAM - Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Dell Scott, 84, of Wortham, will be
conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Porter Chapel-Wortham. Officiating
will be the Rev. Steven Schulte, and burial will be in Richland Cemetery.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.

Family visitation is scheduled for this evening from 5 until 8 o'clock at
Porter Chapel in Wortham.

A longtime member of First Baptist Church, Mrs. Scott was born at Whitney on
Aug. 1, 1920. She died Thursday in Parkview Regional Hospital-Mexia.

Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Scott, and by a brother
and a sister.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Homer Lee and Judy Scott of
Corbet, and Carl Edward and Patsy Scott of Kopperl; eight grandchildren and
numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters - Minnie Meeker of Athens, Mary
Capps and Evelyn Coker, both of Richland; and a brother, Edward Stanley of
Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
