Barbara Jean Jordan Scott

Funeral services for Barbara Jean Jordan Scott, 64, will be held on Saturday, 
September 8, at 12 noon in Moore's Angelic Funeral Home Chapel in Teague.

Rev. Wingham from Christland Baptist church in Fort Worth, Texas is conducting 
the services and interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Teague.

Mrs. Scott passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Long Beach, California on 
September 2, 2001.

Born on April 5, 1937 in Freestone County, she was a resident of Long Beach at
the time of her death. Mrs. Scott was affiliated with the Bible Way Baptist 
Church of Long Beach and she was a retired Bell Telephone operator.

Survivors include husband, Rev. Billy Joe Scott of Long Beach; three daughters,
Sharon Scott of Oakland, California, Lisa Scott of Long Beach, and Regina Scott
of Phoenix, Arizona; and one son, Billy Earl Scott of Long Beach.

Mrs. Scott is also survived by her mother, Lena Bell Jordan of Fort Worth,
Texas; her father, Homer Jordan of Teague; a stepmother, Lucille Jordan of 
Georgetown; a brother and his wife, H. J. and Marie Jordan of Teague; a sister, 
Ruthie Willis of Teague; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers were Mrs. Scott's nephews.

Moore's Angelic Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
