Tommy Scott

Memorial services were held Saturday for Tommy Scott, 56, of Teague who died 
Monday, Dec. 22, in his residence.

Mr. Scott was born in Teague on Dec. 13, 1952 to Heston Thomas and Naomi Scott.

He was a graduate of Teague high school and was married to his best friend, 
Candie Barton Scott, for 22 years.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, at the First United Methodist 
Church in Teague with Rev. Jeff Powers officiating. Interment followed at 
Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Candie Scott; daughter, Sarah Scott; 
grandson, Ethan Ward; and mother, Naomi Scott, all of Teague; brothers, Wayne 
Scott and wife Andrea of Huntsville and Craig Scott and Debbie of Fort Worth; 
sister, Sharon Bunch of Tyler; brothers-in-law, James Barton of Michigan and 
Brett Barton of Houston; and aunt, Shirley Graham of Donie.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christy and his father, Heston Thomas 
Scott.
