Fairfield Recorder - May 8, 1914 issue

Mr. W. H. Scott, who has been failing in health for some time, died near town 
last Tuesday night, and his remains were interred in the Driver cemetery 
Wednesday afternoon. Deceased leaves a wife and two sons, J. N. Scott and Bob 
Scott. We are unable to get any data at this writing to publish as extended 
notice but we know Mr. Scott was an ex Confederate soldier and since he lived 
in our midst was honored and respected by all who knew him.
