 Laura Dean Seeber 
(October 17, 1924 - April 12, 2012) 

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Seeber will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012, 
at 3:00p.m. at the Chapel at Union Cemetery near Freestone. Rev. Alan Van Hooser 
will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Union Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Seeber passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Navarro Regional 
Hospital in Corsicana.

She was born on October 17, 1924, in Comanche, TX. After graduating as 
Salutatorian of her class from Sipe Springs High School, she attended 
Secretarial School in Dallas and went to work for Bell Telephone as a comptometer 
operator. She married Nelson Seeber on October 3, 1946, and they shared over 
sixty-two years together. Mr. Seeber worked for General Motors and Chrysler as a 
field representative and they traveled over several states together with his 
career. They purchased a ranch near Freestone in 1970 and enjoyed raising cattle 
for many years. Mrs. Seeber also worked at the Teague Nursing Home for several 
years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Teague.

She is survived by one daughter, Gail Dean Seeber of Freestone; one nephew, 
Wayne Loftis & wife Margit of Euless; and two special caregivers, Marceia 
Hervey and Becky Easdon.

Mrs. Seeber was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson William Seeber; her 
mother, Annie Laura Henderson; her father, Winston Henry Taylor; one sister, 
Mildred Frankie Volcik; and two brothers, Varner Taylor and Emory Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the First United 
Methodist Church, 420 Walnut St., Teague, Texas, 75860.
