Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Mrs. Dale (Belt) Senter Funeral Services for Mrs. Dale Senter, 61, were held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Rev. Alan Van Hooser officiated. Interment followed the services at Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Senter passed away at the East Texas medical Center in Tyler after battling cancer. Dale was born in Lubbock, Texas on August 3, 1950, to parents Jimmy and Bessie Mae Belt, and lived there until she married her husband of 26 years, Steven Senter and moved to Teague in 1985. Mrs. Senter loved to garden, Facebook; she loved her family and her animals. She was very proud of her four kids, her eleven grandkids and her four great-grandkids. Many people will remember her as the manager of Dairy Queen in Teague or Mexia from 1998 until retiring in 2009; or for her famous homemade fudge. Dale loved Teague; she loved her community and was well known and loved by everyone she met as a fun, loving and caring person. On August 30 of last year her and her husband, Steve, celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Senter is survived by her husband, Steven Senter of Teague; children, Stephanie Graham of San Angelo, Amy Barlow and husband Wesley of Mexia, Toni Roach Auten and husband Chris of Ardmore, OK., and Ricky Senter of Teague; Grandchildren, Greg Graham and wife Sonia of San Angelo, Amanda Hall and husband Brandon of Fairfield, Tabatha Hill of Lake Jackson, Jessica Graham of San Angelo, Preston Senter of Oakwood, Jonathan Graham of San Angelo, Austin McNeill of Ardmore, OK., Kelsey Barlow of Mexia, Garrett Graham of San Angelo, Kalem Auten of Ardmore, OK., and Mallori McNeil of Ardmore, OK.; four great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Mae Bell; Sister, Joy Redford; niece, Dodie Kirk; and nephew, Larry Gene Edwards. Bowers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
