Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Jesse Ezell Sharp ***************************************************** This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb by: Lisa Thomas < > ***************************************************** Jesse Ezell Sharp KERRVILLE - Jesse Ezell Sharp, 93, a resident of Ingram for 22 years, passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at a local hospital. Mrs. Sharp was born May 16, 1911, in Freestone County, TX, to Edna Ezell. After her mother's death, Mrs. Sharp was raised in the Texas Baptist Home for Children in Waxahachie, TX. She married Joe L. Sharp on Feb. 4, 1939, in Point Enterprise in Limestone County, Texas. They resided in Teague, TX, then relocated to Waco, TX, in 1941. Mrs. Sharp was a devoted wife, mother, and a loving and caring friend with strong spiritual beliefs. She was a long-term member of Eighth Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Teague, TX, and attended First Baptist Church in Ingram after moving there in 1982. She is preceded in death by her husband; and a sister, Velma Moore. She is survived by two daughters, Louise Sharp of Big Spring, TX, and Sandra Sharp of Ingram, TX; one sister, Althea Durham of Davis, OK; two sisters-in law, Myrtle Taylor of Waco, TX, and Thelma Sharp of Tyler, TX; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at the Eighth Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Teague, TX. Interment will follow in the Shanks Memorial Cemetery in Freestone County.
