DIED

  At the residence of Mr. T. P. Tally, near Fairfield, on Saturday, May 14th
1887, of pneumonia, Mrs. Amanda Sharp, aged 53.
  The deceased was a sister of Mrs. C. Talley, and Mr. Raleigh Orand, of Ward
Prairie. She was a good Christian lady and a member of the Baptist Church, and
died, believing in a happy resurrection. Her remains were interred in the Talley
family grave yard.
  The deceased came to this county about two years ago from Rutherford county,
Tennessee. She leaves, besides many relatives to mourn her loss, three daughters,
all living in this county.
