Janey Lou Short

TEAGUE - Janey Lou Short, 76, of Teague died June 25, 2002, at her residence
in Teague.  Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, June 28, 2002, at Ricks-
Bowers Chapel in Teague with Glen McCollum officiating.  Burial will be at
Driver Cemetery.

Mrs. Short was born Jan. 24, 1926, in Stanton, Texas.  She loved gardening and
raised many flowers.  She also loved her pets and grandchildren.  She was
preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Short.

Survivors include sons, Michael F. Short and wife Diane of Waco and Patrick
M. Short and wife Patti of Waco; daughter, Kitty Granger and husband David
of Teague; grandchildren, Justin Bounds of Teague, Cody Short, Emyris Short,
Dillon Short and Colton Short, all of Waco; and brothers, Grady Gibson of
Dallas and Bob Gibson of Dallas.

Casket bearers will be her grandsons, Cody Short, Dillon Short, Colton Short,
Justin bounds, and Donald Gibson and Al Makelky.
