Lois Clarice Sikes
Funeral services for Lois Clarice Sikes were held on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 
at 2:00p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home. Bro. Kern Porter and Bro. John Simmons of 
the Fairfield Church of Christ officiated. Interment followed the services at 
Greenwood Cemetery in Teague. Mrs. Sikes passed away on Monday, August 27, 2007
at the Fairfield Nursing and Rehab Center. She was a former resident Cotton 
Gin, but had lived in Teague for the past twenty-eight years. Mrs. Sikes was a 
member of the Fairfield Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth
Brown & husband Marvin of Teague; daughter-in-law, Geneva Sikes Ambrose of 
Taylor; grandchildren, Chris Sikes of Taylor, Yvonne Brown Griffin & husband 
David, Lisa Brown McAdams & husband Johnny, Bobby Brown & wife Kelli, all of 
Teague; great-grandchildren, Amanda McAdams, Michael Griffin, Kevin Griffin, 
Justin Griffin, Macy Brown, and Jenna Brown; great-great-grandchildren, Dillon,
Hunter, and Brindin; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 
Mrs. Sikes was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; three brothers; 
one son, Leroy Sikes; and one grandson, David Sikes.

Lois C. Sikes

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 29 for Lois Clarice Sikes, 90, of 
Teague who died on Monday, Aug. 27 at the Fairfield Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was a former resident of Cotton Gin but had lived in Teague for the past 
twent-eight years.

Services were conducted at Bowers Funeral Home.

Kern Porter and John Simmons of the Fairfield church of Christ, where Mrs. 
Sikes was a member, officiated.

Internment followed the services at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague.

She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Brown and husband Marvin of Teague; 
daughter-in-law, Geneva Sikes Ambrose of Taylor; grandchildren, Chris Sikes of
Taylor, Yvonne Brown Griffin and husband David, Lisa Brown McAdams and husband
Johnny, Bobby Brown and wife Kelli, all of Teague; great-grandchildren, Amanda
McAdams, Michael Griffin, Kevin Griffin, Justin Griffin, Macy Brown and Jenna
