Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Palestine Herald Press - 7 March 2000 edition ROBBIE SIMMONS Services for Robbie Simmons, 67, of Streetman, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Capps Chapel with the Rev. John Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Chapel in Freestone County under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield. Mrs. Simmons died Monday. She was born Oct. 25, 1932, in Tiger Town. She had worked as a waitress at Bella’s Restaurant. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Simmons is survived by her husband, Roland Simmons of Streetman; mother, Marie Kellough of San Jacinto City; daughters, Ruth Quinton of Houston, Rebecca Simmons of Palestine and Kathy Jones of Fairfield; son, James Roscoe Simmons of Houston; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
