Corsicana Daily Sun - Nov 26, 2002 edition Ima Jo (Craig) Simpson Ima Jo Craig Simpson, 77, of Boling passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002 in a Sugar Land hospital following an extended illness. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wharton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Skip Holman officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Folmar, Larry Folmar, Brad Van Dyke, Scott Simpson, Craig Simpson and Joe Ned Jolley. Honorary pallbearers will be all of her many friends and neighbors. Mrs. Simpson was born March 31, 1925 in Streetman to William Craig and Lorena Brock Craig. She married Max Earl Simpson Oct. 11, 1942 in Fairfield. She had been a resident of Boling since 1992 and was a former 40-year resident of New Gulf. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Boling. Survivors include her husband, Max Simpson of Boling; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Carol Simpson of Pledger and James and Joy Simpson of New Gulf; sister, Murlene Harman of Winkler; grandchildren, Scott Simpson, Craig Simpson, Melanie Simpson and Neil Simpson; and great-grandchildren, Colby Max Simpson, Logan Simpson and Carly Simpson.
