Elma Lee Simpson

Elma Lee Simpson, 101, of Winkler, passed away Friday, Aug. 15, 2003 in
Corsicana.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Corley Funeral Home with Dr. Elton McCann
officiating. Interment will follow at St. Elmo Cemetery.

Mrs. Simpson was born Nov. 13, 1901 in St. Elmo. She was a seamstress at the
Hat Factory. She was a member of the St. Elmo Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband Pinkney Simpson, son Marion Simpson and
five brothers and sisters.

Survivors include son Max Simpson of New Gulf; daughter Mrs. Mary Nell Van Dyke
of Winkler; sister Madelle Dunlap of Temple; grandsons James Simpson of New
Gulf, Brad Van Dyke of Winkler and David Simpson of New Gulf; granddaughter
Karen Ferguson of Combine; great-grandsons James Simpson of New Gulf, Craig
Simpson of New Gulf, Chris Ferguson of Garland, Jason Van Dyke of Winkler and
Bradley Van Dyke of Winkler; and three great-great-grandchildren.
