Jimmie Ralph Sims

Jimmie Ralph Sims, 69, of Mexia died Thursday at his home and will be buried
Saturday afternoon in the Mexia City Cemetery. Funeral services will be held
Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Corley Porter Chapel with Rev. Ed Spivey of the
First Baptist Church officiating. Mr. Sims was born February 5, 1909 in
Personville, Tx He was a veteran World War II where he became disabled. He is
survived by his wife, Margaret Sims of Mexia; one sister, Mrs. Earbell Baker of
Headloon, Ok; two halfsisters, Mrs. Martha Johnson and Mrs. Billie Jean Files,
both of San Antonio. Pallbearers will include Cecil Farris, Cyril Farris,
Haskell Farris, W.L. Black, Argie Black, R.C. Allen and Wendell Fore.
