   Several from here attended the funeral of Mr. Will Smith Wednesday. His 
remains were interred in the old Johnson cemetery. He leaves a wife and seven 
children to mourn his loss.

    Will Smith died last Tuesday Mar. 14, at 2 o'clock. He had been sick but a 
short while, and leaves a wife and several children, an aged mother and a host 
of relatives and friends to mourn his death.  He was laid to rest here at Plum 
Creek graveyard.  We extend sympathy to the bereaved family.
