Vera Dean Smith

TEAGUE -Funeral services for Mrs. Vera Dean Smith, 87, will be conducted
Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel-Teague.
Officiating will be the Rev. Jeff Powers, and burial will be at Greenwood
Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, who died Monday in Teague Nursing Home, was born at Marlin on Nov.
23, 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fenton Smith; by a
daughter, Dana Ann Pringle, and by her parents - Arthur Presley and Annie Mann
Dean.

Mrs. Smith had resided in Teague since 1943, but was reared in Marlin. A member
of Teague First United Methodist Church, she had been a Homemaker and had been
employed by Bendy's Dry Goods as an Accountant.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robby and Teresa (Terry) Sims Smith of
Teague; two grandchildren, Kevin Pringle of Huntsville and Robin Pringle of
Spring; and three great-grandchildren, Mark, Patrick and Shane Pringle of
Huntsville.

Pallbearers are Larry Spruiell, Willis Wardwell, Craig McSpadden, Bill Corley,
Scotty Boyd, Rick Pringle and Kevin Pringle.

Visitation will be at Blair-Stubbs in Teague this Friday evening from 6 until 8
o'clock.
