Tolbert L. "Bud" Smith of Wilson, Okla., passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, in
Fairfield. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield.

TOLBERT SMITH

Mr. Tolbert L. "Bud" Smith passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2005 at 
Ardmore, Oklahoma.  He was 79 years old.

Mr. Smith was born July 27, 1926 in Fairfield to Tolbert R. and Ruth Smith.  He
resided in Wilson, Oklahoma.

Funeral services for Mr. Smith were held on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at
Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield, Texas.  Rev. Don Suits II conducted the 
services and interment was at Post Oak Cemetery.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Janice Smith of Wilson, Oklahoma; his 
daughters Wanda Clifton of Marlin, Texas; Shirley Smith of Gainesville, Texas;
Hazel Shannon of Forrestburg, Texas, his sons David Smith of Arlington, Texas;
Buddy T. Smith and Billy Ray Smith, both of Gainsville, Texas; 28 grandchildren,
47 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; his sisters Lydia Ruth
Phister of Mineola, Texas and Zora Ann Melder of Galveston, Texas; his brother
Billie Mac Smith of Conroe, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Doris Sevier.

Pallbearers for Mr. Smith were Billy Smith, John Thomas, Grady Foster, Gary 
Smith, Tony Baimbridge and ?arrad Sewell.

Honorary pallbearers were Rodney Sutton and Lowell Melder.

Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield was in charge of arrangements.
