Blanche Odessa Smith

Blanche Odessa Smith, 83, of Amarillo died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery with the
Rev. Patrick Carathers, of St. Hyacinth's Catholic Church, as celebrant.
Arrangements are Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Mrs. Smith graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Teague.  She was
a member of St. John's Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garfield Smith.

Survivors include a sister, Mattie L. Whiting of Amarillo; and numerous
cousins.
