The Teague Chronicle - Aug. 2, 1918 edition Death of Aged Lady Mrs. L. J. Snook, age 68 years, died at her home in this city at 2:30 o'clock Mon. afternoon following an illness lasting about 30 days. Her niece, Mrs. Harry Higginbotham, of Paulding, Ohio was here with her at the time. Her sister, Mrs. Tanner of Paulding spent the winter here with her. During all this time she was not in the best of health. The remains were shipped Tues. afternoon to Paulding for interment where the remains of her husband who died in Ohio in July 1911 were laid to rest. Mr. & Mrs. Snook came to Teague from Caldwell eleven years ago, Mr. Snook being a cousin of D.C. Tharp. She owned a business house occupied by J.M. Bireline and W.R. Neyland besides her home and other real estate. She also owned property in Caldwell, Texas.
