Billy Coy Solomon, 62, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Baylor
University Medical Center in Dallas.

Wake service will be from 8 to 9 p.m. today at Ross and Johnson Mortuary Chapel.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Roane Chapel Full Gospel Church with 
Pastor Harold Evans Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.

Mr. Solomon was born March 31, 1945, in Streetman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie James Solomon and Annie Jewell 
Solomon; brothers, W.J. Solomon and Lezell Solomon; and sisters, Tiny Mims and 
Annie Bell Solomon.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Franklin Solomon of Corsicana; children, Ruby
Jewel Johnson, Calvin Bernard Rosebud, Phyllis Smith, Tony Solomon, Anita 
Solomon, Michael Hudson and Edwar Jacobs; a host of grandchildren; brothers, 
Cornell Solomon, Clarence Solomon (Hattie), Roy Solomon and Mack Solomon; 
sisters, Ollie Mae Baker, Frankie Edom and Prezell Solomon; aunt, Edna Marie 
Keeton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Annie Doris Solomon, Ruthie Bartee,
Pearl Green (Robert), Phillip Franklin (Lora), Melvin Franklin (Bettie), Betty
Hailey (Tommy), and William Franklin (Shonna); and a host of nieces, nephews,
uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
