MILDRED OLGA SPATES joined her beloved husband, Everett/sons, Lawrence and
Raymond, on  Monday, December 29, 2003. She was born in Teague, Texas on August
29, 1911 to  Otto and Emma Roesler. Mildred was baptized in the Lutheran faith
on June 19,  1921 and has been a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church for 76
years. She lived  on the same street in Sunset Heights for 84 years.  She's
survived by her daughter, Lee Floeck/husband, Charles/son, Charles Spates/wife,
Barbara;  grandchildren, Sherrill, Christine, Paula, Michelle, Karen, Laura,
Warren, Ryan,  Diane, Darren, Myleesa and their families with 15
great-grandchildren; sister,  Bernice Kupec/brother, Mickey Roesler/wife,
Evelyn; numerous nieces/nephews/caregiver, Mary Hall. Visitation with the
family will be held Thursday evening, January 1, 2004, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Pat
H. Foley Funeral Home.

Services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 305 15th Street, on Friday,
January 2, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Resthaven  Cemetery.
