Mae Anna Lena (Hoeinghaus) Speed

Mae Anna Lena Speed, 81, of Corsicana passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2001 in 
Corsicana.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Vernon
McGuyer officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Barr, Buck Bonner, Larry Courtney, Patrick Stearman, 
Jeff Thornton and Charles Walpole. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Courtney 
and James Kirk.

Mrs. Speed was born Feb. 6, 1920 in Rowena.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Earl Speed; and brothers, Joe 
Hoeinghaus and Walter Hoeinghaus.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jean Pearl and James Courtney
of Buchanan Dam, and Barbara Ann and Mark Jones and Wanda Sue and Randal Kirk,
all of Corsicana; son and daughter-in-law, William E. and Shirley Speed of 
Eustace; brother, Oscar Hoeinghaus; sister, Amanda White; 11 grandchildren, 18 
great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
