The Bryan-College Station Eagle Sunday, November 27, 2005 Bess Sprague Dec. 7, 1900 - Nov. 23, 2005 Services for Bess Sprague, 104, of Bryan are set for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Rest-Ever Mausoleum in Bryan. Travis Bryan III and Timothy Bryan will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Mrs. Sprague died Wednesday night at Crestview. She was born in Freestone County and received her B.S. in Education from the University of Texas. She was an accomplished pianist and played over 20 years for the Bryan Lions Club and also for the Business Men's Bible Class at First Baptist Church. She was Past President of the Women's Club and also served on numerous Civic Organization Boards. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Doc" Sprague. Survivors include a sister, Ruth Ditto of Ft. Worth; nieces, Mrs. Grace Ann Carr of College Station and Mrs. Travis Bryan Jr. of Bryan; and a nephew, Dr. Michael Ditto of Arlington. Callaway-Jones Funeral Home
