Zelda Spruiell

TEAGUE - Mrs. Zelda Spruiell, 86, of Teague, died Monday at the Limestone
Medical Center in Groesbeck. Mrs. Spruiell had resided in Teague since 1942,
and worked there as a Beautician for 53 years before retiring.

Funeral services for Mrs. Spruiell will be on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock
in Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Darrel Beggs will officiate.
Burial will be in Wilson Chapel Cemetery, near Donie.

Mrs. Spruiell shared 47 years of marriage with her husband, Joe Max Spruiell,
until being separated by his death in 1984. She enjoyed being a homemaker and
taking care of her husband and son. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Visitation is scheduled for this evening from 5 until 7 o'clock at the funeral
home.

Surviving are a son, Larry Spruiell of Teague; a niece, Janet Walker Hamilton
of Midland, and a nephew, Donald Walker of Tyler.
