W.M. STANDLEE

W.M. STANDLEE, 87, of Houston passed away Thursday, March 25, 1999. He was 
born October 27, 1911 in Freestone County, Texas to Bishop and Phoebe 
Standlee. Mr. Standlee was began working for Cameron Iron Works in 1938 and 
retired from there as a machinist in 1977 after 39 years of service. He 
preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Standlee on December 25, 1973 and by 
sister, Letha Davis; and brothers: Allen D. Standlee and J.S. Standlee. Mr. 
Standlee is survived by sisters-in-law: Vickie Standlee of Houston and Martha 
Standlee of Smithville, Texas; and 12 nieces and nephews. Friends may call at 
Heights Funeral Home, Saturday, March 27, 1999 from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until 
9:00 p.m. with the family being present from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral 
services will be in the funeral home chapel, Sunday, March 28, 1999 at 3:00 
p.m. with Rev. Bert Miller, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park
Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Ave.
