Mrs. Johnnie (Salder) Freeman Statham

Johnnie Statham Funeral Services Held March 20 

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnnie Statham, 87, of Buffalo were held on Monday,
March 20, 2006 in Coolidge Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Mark Nelson officiating. 
Mrs. Statham was born on June 22, 1918 in Walker County to Felix and Lizzie
Sadler. She retired from the educational department of the Mexia State School.
She lived in Limestone County most of her life; in Groesbeck during the early
1920s and then moved to Coolidge and lived there about 1935 - 1982 when she
moved to Buffalo. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Buffalo. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Earl Freeman who
died in 1976 and her second husband, Ben Statham, who died in 2002. 
Survivors are three sons: Bruce Freeman and wife, Laretta of Carthage, Brent
Freeman and wife, Laurie of England, and Brian Freeman and wife, Patricia, of
Buffalo; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Blair-Stubbs Mexia was in charge of arrangements.
