Thomas Ray ‘TR’ Steele - 08/28/06

Thomas Ray ‘TR’ Steele, 69, of Streetman passed away Saturday, August 26, 2006
in Corsicana.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny 
Richardson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Midway Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Steele, Bret Steele, Tom Jenkins, Steve Devillier, 
Culley Devillier and James Michael Fregia.

He was born July 12, 1937 in Palestine.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Pam Jenkins, and a brother, Larry Steele.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Billy and Shirley Steele of Houston;
daughter and son-in-law Cathy and Tommy Henderson of Streetman; granddaughters 
Amy Steele and Pamela Henderson of Streetman; grandson Justin Henderson of 
Streetman; brother Don Steele of Streetman; brother and sister-in-law Abe and 
Christine Steele of Richland; sister and brother-in-law Mary and Jerry 
Devillier of Winnie; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas Ray "T.R." Steele

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Corsicana for Thomas Ray "T.R." Steele, 
69, of Streetman who died Saturday, August 26 at Heritage Oaks Retirement 
Village.

Mr. Steele was born July 12, 1937 in Palestine. He was a welder.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. at Corley Funeral Home Chapel, with  Rev. 
Danny Richardson, Jr. officiating.  Burial was at Midway Cemetery.  Pallbearers 
were Eric Steele, Bret Steele, Tom Jenkins, Steve Devillier, Culley Devillier 
and James Michael Fregia.

Mr. Steele is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Shirley Steele 
of Houston; A daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Tommy Henderson of Streetman; 
two granddaughters, Amy Steele of Streetman and Pamela Henderson of Streetman; 
a grandson, Justin Henderson of Streetman; A brother, Don Steele of Streetman; 
a brother and sister-in-law, Abe and Christine Steele of Richland; a sister and
brother-in-law, Mary and Jerry Devillier of Winnie; and numerous nieces and 
nephews.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Pam Jenkins; and a brother, 
Larry Steele.
