H.P. “Steve” Stephenson

H.P. “Steve” Stephenson passed away on April 23, 2007. He was born on April 9,
1930 in Donie, Texas to Ernest Nelson and Tempie Mae Cobb Stephenson. Steve 
graduated in 1949 from Sam Houston State University with a Master of Education
degree. He went to work for Dow Chemical in 1950 as a chemical technologist. 
In 1951, Steve married Charlotte Odessa Stephenson. Steve and Charlotte lived
in the Brazosport area.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, John W. and Altus 
Stephenson. He is survived by his wife; son, Robert Stephenson and wife Gail 
of Richwood; and granddaughter, Debbie Stephenson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel
at Palms Funeral Home. Steve will be cremated and the ashes will be buried at 
a later date in Techancana Cemetery in Techancana, Texas. Arrangements are by 
Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas.
