FORT WORTH - Clyde Stevens, a retired dry cleaning presser, died Wednesday at 
his Fort Worth home. He was 71.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Salem Baptist Church in Teague, Freestone
County, where he was a member. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Teague.

Williams Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Stevens was born in Teague and had lived in Fort Worth for 50 years.

Survivors: Wife, Martha High Stevens of Fort Worth; two daughters, Letharue 
Carroll and Clydell Vernon, both of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; and seven 
great-grandchildren.
