Kenneth Franklin Stroade

Kenneth Franklin Stroade of Buffalo died at the age of 83 in Mexia on March 7.

Mr. Stroade had lived in Buffalo since 1967 and was born in Saragosa on
November 14, 1922.

He was a farmer who served in the United States Navy during World War II
achieving the rank of SKV3c, and was a deacon at First Baptist Church in
Buffalo.

Funeral services were held Friday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill
Thompson officiating. Interment followed in Siloam Cemetery.

Mr. Stroade is survived by his wife of 57 years, Edith Gordon Stroade; son
Kenneth S. Stroade and wife Kay of Buffalo; his grandchildren, Paul Stroade,
Randy Stroade, Daniel Stroade, Kasey Stroade, Anna Marie Crowson and husband
Charles and his great grandchildren Whitney, Kennedy and Kayla.

He is also survived by his sisters Jane and Anna May.

Mr. Stroade was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jane Elizabeth
Davies Stroade; his son Sammy Stroade; brother Fred and sisters Lucille and
Marie.

Arrangements were by Memorial Funeral Home of Buffalo.
