Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder - Friday, June 24, 1904 Page: 3 OBITUARY. In memory of little Billy Strother, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Strother, who departed this life Jhne 4th. He was three years five months and six days old. The death angel visited the home of my dear children and took one of their little jewels, the only son they had. Ohi how hard it seems to give one of our sweet little children up and never hear its prattling little tongue or see its sweet smiles any more in this world, though God’s will be done, not ours, dear children, let’s try to be submissive to the Lord’s will and try to live so we can meet our little darling in heaven where there is no parting of loved ones. Don’t grieve dear children, just think little Billie is fir heaven wearing a bright crown that was laid up for him. Sweet little Billie was laid to rest in the Hopewell cemetery to await the resurrection morn. The funeral service was conducted by G. L. Tipps. Little Billie’s Grandma S. P. RICHARDSON
