CLYDE TACKER

CLYDE TACKER, of Houston, died Friday, April 23, 1999. He was born December 
22, 1919 in Freestone, Texas. Mr. Tacker was President of Clemtex, Inc., past 
President of Woodforest Civic Association, past President of North Shore 
Rotary, past Chairman and Board of Directors of the North Channel Area Chamber
of Commerce, served on the Board of Directors at Woodforest National Bank and
Clyde received numerous awards for his work in the community. Member of the
United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and
Mozell Tacker. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Isabelle Tacker; 
daughter, Loretta and husband Mac, of Dallas, Tx.; sons, Terry and wife 
Gloria, of Phoenix, Arizona and James Tacker and wife Carri, of Kingwood, Tx.
grandchildren, Brian, Amber, Harrison Cole, Ashtyn, Heather and Corey; sister,
Cindy Callett, of San Antonio, Tx.; niece, Jill and nephews, Will and Cody. 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 1999 in the 
Chapel of Howard-Glendale Funeral Home, 1015 Federal Road, with Dr. Mac Hood 
officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery. The family 
eceived friends at Howard-Glendale Funeral Home, on Sunday, April 25, 1999 
from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Bob Chrisman, Harvey Duke, 
Walter Standish, Mearl OQuinn, Bobby Goynes and Norman Wren.
