JIMMY RAY TACKER


Graveside services for Mr. Jimmy Ray Tacker were held on Sunday, January 27, 2008, at 
LaSalle Cemetery in Limestone County. He was 59 years old.

Mr. Tacker passed away on Friday, January 25, 2008, in Houston. Mr. Tacker was a 
painter for many years. He loved to fish, play games, and practice horticulture. He was 
especially known for raising seedless watermelons. He had a gentle spirit and loved his 
family. Mr. Tacker was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his daughters Robin Renee’ Tacker of Waco and Dusty Renee’ Tacker 
of Oklahoma; his brother Troy L. Tacker and wife Arlene of Washington; his sisters 
Yvonne Jackson of Tomball, Billie Allison and husband Caluph of Teague, Gy Nell 
Humphries of Cleburne and Leah Denise Tacker of Waco; numerous nieces, nephews, 
other relatives and friends.

Mr. Tacker was preceded in death by his daughter Lori Tacker and his parents Troy 
Leonard and Daisy V. Jailer Tacker.
