Freestone County, Texas Obituaries, Memorials, and Death Notices The Fairfield Recorder - Thursday, December 21, 1944 Page: 1 Earl Talley Dies Suddenly In Dallas Saturday Earl Talley, aged 57, native of Freestone County, who had been living in Dallas the past year, died suddenly Saturday morning. His body was brought here and buried in the Fairfield cemetery Sunday afternoon, the Rev. James Morgan, assisted by the Revs. W. R. Miller and E. K. Shepherd conducting religious services in the First Baptist Church. Near surviving relatives are his wife, a daughter, Miss Alaie Lou Talley of Dallas; his father, Tom P. Talley of Huntsville; a sister, Mrs. Beal Mayo of California; two brothers, C. C. Talley of Mexia, and Ernest Talley of Huntsville; three step-children, B. A. Ivy of Louisiana, Mrs. R. L. Embry of Dallas and Cpl. J. C.
