Louella Calame (McAdams) Taylor

Louella Calame Taylor passed away in Fairfield January 9, 2013. She was born in 
Leon County to Jesse O. McAdams and Mattie Graham McAdams on October 4, 1918. 
She was married to Charles E. (Son) Calame in 1937.

Louella is survived by four sons: Charles Calame, and wife Dorothy, Jerry Calame, 
and wife Jenny, Jesse Calame, and Tony Calame, all of Wortham, and by three 
daughters: Glenda Neese of Wortham, Elizabeth Lucas, and husband Thomas, of 
Corsicana, and Nelda Mullenax of Kirvin. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 
37 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Always interested in other people and details of their lives, Louella was a 
caretaker of others throughout her life. She enjoyed sharing stories about the 
past, providing many humorous memories of her family life.

A family memorial service will be held at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin, Texas at 
a later date.
