Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder November 19, 2009 Bobbee Dee Taylor Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbee Dee Taylor, 77, were held Sunday, November 15, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Teague. Bro. Darrel Beggs officiated. Interment followed the services at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation was held on Saturday at Bowers Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor passed away on Thursday, November 12, at Fairfield Nursing and Rehab Center. She was a lifelong resident of Teague until moving to the nursing home in Fairfield about three years ago. She married Bobby Jack Taylor on February 5, 1949 and shared some 34 years together before being separated by his death in 1983. Mrs. Taylor worked for dental offices in Teague and Mexia for several years and was an LVN and worked at numerous healthcare facilities in the area. She loved the Lord and attended numerous churches in the area, teaching Sunday School and leading Bible studies for many years. Survivors include three daughters, Karyn Richards and husband Jerry, and Kay Barger all of Fairfield, and Kris Ivy and husband David of Streetman; Eight grandchildren, Traci Ard and husband Craig, David Carroll, J.W. Richards IV and wife Sara, Clint Silar and wife Whitney, Matt Silar and wife Amy, Paul Barger II, Marc Barger, and Kerrisa Nichols; eighteen greatgrandchildren; Brother Bob Ham and wife Lillye of Bedford and other relatives and numerous faithful friends. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jack Taylor; grandson, Korey Burks and her parents, Bob & Bee Ham.
