MR. ELOIS TERRELL, JR.

Funeral Services for Mr. Elois Terrell, Jr. were held Saturday, December 12, 
2009, at the Church On The Rock Church, 1470 Hwy 14, Groesbeck, Texas, with Rev.
J. B. Lacy officiating. Interment was in the Grove Island Cemetery, FM 1365, 
Teague.

Mr. Terrell was born in Odessa, Texas to Mr. Elois Terrell, Sr. and Patsy 
Strain. His parents preceded him in death. He received his education from the 
Odessa Public Schools and received his CDL Certificate and worked for the Texas
Highway Department. He married Carolyn Hodge on October 25, 1984 in Groesbeck, 
Texas and was a member of the Michael Chapel Church of Odessa. Mr. Terrell 
passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009 in the Lewisville Medical Center, 
Lewisville, Texas, among loving family and devoted friends.

Mr. Terrell is survived by: His wife, Carolyn Terrell of The Colony, Texas; His 
daughter: Karen Slaughter, The Colony, Texas; Niece that he helped raise: SPC 
Miesha Masters, Baltimore, MD; Devoted Cousins that were raised as siblings: 
Ruby Ratcliff and husband, Edward, The Colony, Texas; William Lacy, Jr., and 
wife, Myra, Dallas, Shirley Miller, Mexia; Four sisters-in-law: Janice Jones and 
husband, Billy and Jacquline Bryant and husband, Lewis all of Groesbeck; Ineda 
Masters and husband, Sherman, Atlanta, GA; and Kathy Hill and husband, Henry, 
Sr., The Colony, Texas; and 2 Grandchildren: Jarieus and Eddie Slaughter, The 
Colony, Texas.
