Weldon Edward Terry

Weldon Edward Terry, 76, of Fairfield passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002 at
Fairview Manor in Fairfield. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvary
Baptist Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Terry Skinner officiating. Interment
will follow at Fairfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Curtis Red, Clois
"Buddy" Mullen, John Awalt, Steve Casey, Melvin Hefelfinger and Mark Raymond.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Fairfield High School Class of 1942. 

Mr. Terry was born Feb. 15, 1925 in Fairfield. He had lived in Fairfield 35
years and had previously lived in San Diego, Calif. for 25 years. He had been
the parts manager for Big A Autoparts and was a lifetime member of VFW
Fairfield Post 5872. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield and
was a World War II veteran having served in the Navy. 

Survivors include his wife, Irene Terry of Fairfield; daughter, Linda Caliver
of San Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters,
Lola Ben Hollaway of Fairfield and Doris Ann Welch of Teague; special
relatives, Cindy Vickers and Mike Hefelfinger; and a host of nieces and
nephews.
