Deceased Name: James E. Thomas

FORT WORTH - James E. Thomas, a construction worker, died Sunday at a Fort 
Worth hospital. He was 81.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Jubilee Temple C.M.E. Church, where he 
was a member. Burial will be in Skyvue Memorial Garden.

Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

There will be a wake from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Thomas was born in Freestone County and had lived in Fort Worth since 1945.

Survivors: Wife, Katie Mae Thomas of Fort Worth; three sons, Billy Frank 
Thomas, Terry Thomas and Ronnie Thomas, all of Fort Worth; four stepdaughters,
Arlinda Brooks of Plano, Gloria Petty of The Colony, Mary Ann Schappelle of 
Los Angeles and Bobbie Jean White of Arlington; 12 grandchildren; eight 
stepgrandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
