Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder - October 8, 2009 edition Dyron Deprese "Big D" Thomas Dyron Deprese "Big D" Thomas of Midlothian passed away at Medical City Dallas Hospital Sept. 24 among loving family and devoted friends. Viewing was Friday, October 2 at Moore's Angelic Funeral Home. Funeral services were Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Mexia, with Supt. Demetrius Beachum and Pastor Michael Perry officiating. Interment was at Sandy Creek Cemetery, Coolidge. Mr. Thomas was a twin born to Shirley Thomas on January 13, 1979 in Waco, Texas. He attended the Greater Haynes Memorial and the Cameron Chapel Churches Of God In Christ of Mexia. Mr. Thomas graduated with the Mexia high school class of 1997, obtained his CDL and was a commercial vehicle driver until his health failed. He was a graduate of Dallas Barber College and was employed by Majors Cutz Barber Shop in Dallas until his death. Mr. Thomas and Cheryl Beachum were married on July 22, 2004 in Mexia. His interests were restoring classic cars and trucks, car shows, drag racing, wild hog hunting, riding four wheelers, and cooking. Survivors are his wife Cheryl Thomas, Midlothian, son Kendrick Beachum, Troup; three daughters Jennifer Jefferson, Waco, Sabrina Jefferson and Alisha Jefferson, both of Midlothian; Grandchildren Jaeda Smith, Midlothian, and Jaylon Beachum, Waco; Maternal family members including a special nephew that he raised, Joshua Thomas, Waco; special aunt Linda Phillips and husband, Theo, Mexia; brothers Sedrick Thomas, Phoenix, AZ, Davon Thomas, Cedar Hill, two sisters, twin sister Shyron Thomas, Waco, and Shavon Thomas, Mexia; Aunts Margaret Ross, Corsicana, Glodine Carroll and Bernice Medlock (Peaches) and husband, Joseph (Bear), all of Mexia; Uncles Wilmer Thomas and wife, Theresa,Walter Thomas, Jr. and his wife, Fay, all of Waco, Marvin Hudson and his wife, Wilene and J.C. Jones and his wife, Barbara, all of Mexia, and six special cousins, Rodney Jones, Tre' Ross, Anetress Matthews, Myra Elam, Tiffany Haynes, and Jared Jones; Paternal family, Elmer Weathers, Sr., grandmother, Alberta Weathers, brothers Anthony Weathers, Rodney Weathers, and Elmer Weathers, Jr, all of Mexia; Sister Tammy Weathers, Mexia, aunts Gutherene Clayton and her husband, Curtis, Mexia, Mable Meadors and her husband, Charles, Lancaster, and Evelyn Henley and her husband, R.L., Dallas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
