WILLIE MAE HALL THOMAS

Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Mae Hall Thomas were held on Saturday, April 
3, 2010, at First United Methodist Church in Wortham, Texas. Bishop Jamal Henry
and Evangelist Diane Manning officiated and interment was at Wortham Cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas was the daughter of the late Ida Marie Allen and Willie Lee Hall, 
and was born in Hubbard, Texas. She grew up in Marquez and Wortham, Texas and
attended the public schools. She was baptized in the Beulah Baptist Church of 
Wortham and was a member of the Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in the 
Springfield Community of Mexia at the time of her death. She was a Nanny to a 
number of families in the Mexia and Wortham area and enjoyed caring for those 
who could not care for themselves. Death ended her marriage to George Henry 
and to Jerrell (Jake) Thomas. The Angelic Hosts came for Willie Mae on Monday,
March 29, 2010, at her residence among loving family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her sister Jo Ann Chambers; her nephew
Anthony Hall, and her husbands.

Those left to cherish her memory most are her sons Larry Henry of Houston and 
Lanny Henry and wife Mary of Mexia; her daughter Linda Henry and husband Ricky
of Mexia; her brothers Bobby Allen and wife Betty of Fort Worth and Emmitt 
Wayne Hall of Houston; her sister Judy Maston of Fort Worth; 8 grandchildren; 
17 great grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives
and friends.
