Taylor, Pastor ------------------------------------------ [Page 2] Obituary Governor Titus, the oldest child of the late Willie and Mary Titus, was born Feb. 6, 1895. He attended public school in Titus Farm Community. At the age of 22 he was enlisted in service, where he served with Co. C., 332nd Service Bn., United States Army. There he served honestly and faithfully and was honorably discharged July 30, 1919. He was married to Miss A. M. Hunter Feb. 6, 1921. To this union five children were born. He suffered a long illness and passed away August 15, 1966, in Freestone County Hospital. He leaves to mourn his wife, three sons, Wilbur of Dallas, Texas, Cornelius of Los Angeles, Calif., and Joe Pierce of San Diego, Calif; three daughters, Mrs. Katherine M. Cox of Fairfield, Texas, Loreta Phillips and Ernestine Jordan of Dallas, Texas; one brother, three sisters and 15 grandchildren, eight nieces and three nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. ------------------------------------------ [Page 3] PROGRAM Processional Song..........."What a Friend" Prayer Scripture.......Rev.
